The Montshire is committed to the social and intellectual development of our community.
We support libraries in a number of ways. Libraries can book a STEM outreach program with a museum educator (in-person or virtually), or take advantage of our free library of online videos, activities, and lesson plans on a variety of science topics. Many libraries also purchase a passbook, which contains twelve single-use admission passes to the Museum. These passes can be distributed to your library patrons. The passes can be used by adults or children, do not expire, and represent a $3-5 savings off daily admission, per pass.
The Montshire is thrilled to support Vermont’s Summer Reading theme: Unearth a Story! Bring the Montshire’s extensive fossil collection and programming to your library this summer!
The Montshire is also thrilled to support New Hampshire’s Summer Reading theme, Plant A Seed: Read! Bring the Montshire’s beloved Seedy Science programming and seed collection to your library this summer!
Bring the Montshire to you! Choose one or more of the following high-quality, hands-on science programs that can come to you either in-person or virtually.

The Montshire offers passbooks for purchase that contain twelve admissions to the Museum. The passes can be used by adults or by children and never expire.
Planning a program? Our Montshire At Home resources are full of printables, Museum-made videos, lessons plans and more, all for a range of fun and engaging science topics.
