The Woodland Garden, established in 2008 with assistance from the Native Plant Trust (formerly, the New England Wildflower Society), was created to help visitors identify and protect native New England plants.
The short interpretive path (0.1 miles) begins with stone steps located just across the driveway from the Museum building. The path winds through a spectacular array of native plants, passes a seasonal stream, and has benches created by Vermont artisans for visitors who wish to rest and enjoy the scenery. The path ends at the far side of the parking lot.
