Science Story Time: Mae Jemison

Have you ever wondered about the vastness of space? Let’s read Through the Telescope: Mae Jemison Dreams of Space, written by Charles R. Smith Jr. and illustrated by Evening Monteiro. Then get ready for a journey to the stars: join your little one to make constellation maps!

Join us for Science Story Time, an interactive learning experience for young children with their adult(s). Attendees will join a museum educator to discover exciting science topics through read-aloud picture books, conversations, and songs to develop early literacy skills. Get hands on with your little one as they get curious, experiment, look closely, and problem solve! What will you notice today?
