Science Story Time: Jane Goodall the Primatologist

Let’s learn all about the primatologist Jane Goodall. We will read Me…Jane by Patrick McDonnell; and excerpts from The Chimpanzee Children of Gombe written by Jane Goodall with photos by Michael Neugebauer. Work together to build model chimpanzee habitats and sanctuaries. Then, create your own binoculars to step into the shoes of Jane Goodall!

Join us for Science Story Time, an interactive learning experience for young children with their adult(s). Attendees will join a museum educator to discover exciting science topics through read-aloud picture books, conversations, and songs to develop early literacy skills. Get hands on with your little one as they get curious, experiment, look closely, and problem solve! What will you notice today?
