Homeschool, ages 12-15: Aeronautics: It IS Rocket Science!

Will you go to space in your lifetime? For the first time in history, the answer is–maybe. But how did we get here? In this course, we will take a hands-on approach to understanding the history of flight, and make models of these flying inventions along the way! From its origins in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, up through balloon aviation, and finally modern day rocketry, we will build our way to an understanding of that next frontier and prepare ourselves for a future in flight.

This course meets on six Tuesdays, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM
