Family Nature Walk: Guided Snowshoe Walk

Wander together into the healing forest and take notice of the cold weather landscape. Join us for a family friendly .5 mile guided snowshoe walk through Science Park to the Meadow Loop. Snowshoes are provided.

Family Nature Walk is a wonderful time for young scientists to participate in science inquiry through observation and asking questions. Walk together on the Montshire’s gentle trails to connect with nature and bask in the benefits of the Healing Forest with your young forest bathers. Grounded in the science-backed practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, discover the wonders of nature together. We welcome all Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers, and their children on this Family Walk to the Healing Forest along Montshire’s accessible path. Join us in all weather… dress appropriately and make it part of the adventure!
