Montshire River Society

Montshire River Society members experience the Montshire through a series of special events and programs, as well as the highest level of membership privileges. By making an annual gift of $2,500 or more, members of the River Society provide vital support to the Montshire Museum's exhibits, outreach efforts, and educational programs.

Benefits for River Society Members

• Invitations to a series of special River Society events and programs, such as:
  • Spring trail walk and reception
  • Fall lecture and/or book signing with a nationally significant figure
  • Holiday gathering and program in December 
• Opportunity to name one of Montshire’s permanent exhibits for one year
• Unlimited visits to the Montshire for up to eight individuals per visit
• Ten guest admission passes
• 20% savings in the Museum Store
• Recognition in Montshire’s annual report as a member of the River Society

Members of the River Society receive benefits with an estimated value of $160. The balance is fully tax-deductible as provided by law.
