Montshire Explorers

Adventure is the order of the day as we unravel nature’s mysteries. We’ll use microscopes, nets, and other scientific tools to discover new things about the natural world far outside the Montshire’s walls. A special off-site field trip on Friday wraps up the week. Every day at Explorers Camp includes games, swimming, and making new friends!

Children may sign up for one "A" and one "B" week. The A and B sessions will feature different activities and themes.

Aquatic Explorers at Hanover Site

Grab a net and join us in exploring aquatic habitats near our base camp at the Colonial Cabin and the area around Storrs Pond. Campers will visit vernal pools, streams, and ponds to learn about the different animals and plants that call these habitats home. Each day will include exploration, games, swimming, and more!

Inventors' Workshop

Inventors' Workshop is perfect for those who like to create, design, experiment, and take on exciting engineering challenges while engaging in fun, hands-on projects. Campers will sketch ideas, troubleshoot designs and bring their imagination to life through their inventions. There's also time during camp to swim, play games, hike, and enjoy other outdoor adventures.

Children may sign up for only one session of Inventors' Workshop.
