Elevator Bike

Learn how much energy it takes to raise the Museum's elevator up one flight. Be prepared to pedal, and watch the elevator car travel from one floor to the next with its cargo of whimsical creatures. The elevator model moves up in its elevator shaft using the same amount of energy as the real elevator nearby. Visitors pedal an exercise bike and feel the actual amount of energy it takes to move the real elevator up one floor in the Museum.
