When we say “hands-on” at the Montshire Museum of Science, we mean it. You won’t be able to keep your hands off our exhibits — more than 140 in our permanent collection alone — and that’s just how we like it.
When you visit Montshire's 100-acre Museum, you enter an exciting world of science, nature, and technology. Our spacious and light-filled building easily holds both permanent exhibits and featured exhibitions. The exploration continues outside in Science Park, the Woodland Garden, and along the nature trails bordering the beautiful Connecticut River. Whether you are experiencing the Museum for the first time or the hundredth, every visit is a new experience.
