Natalie Charron, May 2013

When was the first time you came to the Montshire?
My parents brought me to the Montshire when I was 6 months old and I’ve been coming regularly ever since.

What is your favorite exhibit?
My favorite exhibits would have to be the aquariums, Time Machine, and Kinetic Energy.

What do you wish everyone knew about the Museum?
It’s a very fun and exciting place where kids can explore exhibits, learn, and have a good time.

Which other museums do you enjoy visiting?
The Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

What is the best kept secret at the Montshire?
There is always something new! And, Summer Camp is awesome.

How many years have you been coming to Camp at the Montshire?
This will be my third year.

Which camp programs have you attended?
Aquatic Investigations, Inventor’s Workshop, Valley Trekkers, and Tinkering with Electrons.

The coolest part about camp?
The fact that we’re having fun and meeting new people while learning very interesting things about science.

What's the funniest thing that happened?
During Aquatic Investigations camp a leech escaped and everyone tried to get the leech back into the bucket without touching it. It was funny to see what people attempted!

Are you attending camp this summer?
Yes I am (Aquatic Investigations and Montshire Makers) and I’m really excited, yet sad because it will be my last summer where I’m eligible to attend camp.

Any advice for new campers?
Have fun and try to participate as much as possible—you'll be glad you did.

Any advice for their parents?
The camp counselors are great and I think your kids will have a lot of fun.

Your favorite summer camp experience?
Meeting new friends and learning cool stuff. I really like the different places I visited during Aquatic Investigations camp such as the bog, and Clark Pond.
